Haiti Trip 2010

Our mission in Haiti

While attending Bible school, four Haitian brothers in Christ (two of whom are members of First Baptist Church, Asbury Park, NJ [FBC]) , who had been praying and seeking God's will, saw the need to fulfill the Great Commission, but had no idea of where the Lord was leading them. The summer of 2000 a team of approximately 20 fellow believers (the four men plus adults and teenagers of FBC) embarked on a short term mission trip to Haiti.

The Gospel was preached and many people were saved! It was abundantly clear that these new Haitian Christians needed a place to worship.
